I used to have a LiveJournal blog.

Loved that thing. I would come home from school and the first thing I’d do was tippety-type… because I loved it. Because it was fun.

One of the things back then were surveys. Remember those? They’re 500 questions long, and your friends would do them. Then you’d copy-paste everything and delete their answers so you could answer them yourself!

Well —

I found my LiveJournal blog, and the last survey I ever did from March 5, 2007.

5. Male or Female - It’s so cool to see these questions to see how dated they are. When I was 16 I don’t think I knew or was exposed to gender being a spectrum or anything like that.
6. Song that relates to you right now - My money don’t jiggle jiggle. (I don’t have any.)
7. Favorite Color - I want to say blue because that’s been my default answer forever but honestly I’m just a fan of colors in general

10. Hair Color - Black. It got red for a second there but we’re back to black.

24. Surgery - Caesarian (Sidenote: what a TRIP filling this out 15 years later and seeing how my answers have changed. From no surgeries to oh yeah just the one that birthed my baby oh by the way I have a baby now oh by the way he’s also already old enough to need deodorant like WHAT)
25. First piercing - Ears.
26. First best friend — I made friends with the new girl when I was in kinder! We lost touch, of course. And then saw each other 12 years later at prom! Because she was the friend of the dates of one of my friends. And her school happened to have prom the same night as ours. And she and her friends happened to karaoke the same place we did for post-prom. Whaaat.
27. First Award — I was an outstanding student in grade 2! I can’t remember if I was ever an outstanding student again until college, where I graduated cum laude (with a child on my hip NBD!)

28. First Sport You Joined - I can’t remember if it was the first, but I did swimming classes at the back of Charcoal Grill as a kid, with the guy who would eventually be my aunt’s aerobics instructor, and my street dance PE teacher freshman year college.
29. First pet - I had a basset hound named Riley!
30. First vacation — Bacolod when I was 4 months old. Mom plonked me on my sleeping grandfather’s chest as a surprise!
31. First Concert - I think it was a1? MTV recorded it and HAHA spot me at 2:51. I’m in orange looking up and to the left! I was ~playing it cool~

32. First love — I had a boyfriend in grade 1. I don’t know if he knew he was my boyfriend; I just declared that he was. But he would send me flowers! And messages on the answering machine! And we’d sign our cards with “love” HAHA

51. I’m about to — Get on a call with a client. I should make content, but my mind is a mess.
52. Listening to - The aircon. It’s so quiet. Mon and I were watching a stand-up special, Middle Classy, but it’s paused now.

82. Broken any bones - I don’t think I have. My ortho says I fractured my growth plate before? But like it wasn’t anything; I didn’t have a cast. I just have one arm shorter than the other I think. I forgot what he said; I was like 14 HAHA

89. Yourself — I want that hot shit energy. I remember being 23 and thinking I knew everything. I know more things now!! Why’d the confidence curve go the other way!! Okay, no, but generally yeah.
